If you had lingered, I would have asked you to be with Percy, to try to make him see sense and turn his heart toward home. I think you were the only one who could have done it. But I've never seen your ghost, and now that it's been a year even that treacherous little hope is fading. When I can see beyond the grief, I tell myself it's better that you've gone on. Even if means Percy is lost to us all now.
I know seeing me writing to you will make them worry, but dearest man, I can't help it.
There are days when it's a bit easier, but still....I do miss you so dreadfully sometimes.
