I've inquired, and apparently, he is embittered at believing she led him deliberately into a trap.
I know this has been an incredibly difficult month for you, Molly.
You have every right to feel what you're feeling, love.
Evelyn told me that she knew what it was like to not have a body to bury, and that she believed in her heart of hearts that leaving Crouch's body to the elements was deeply morally wrong -- especially when there was someone left alive who would mourn him and whose religious beliefs would view it as an extreme violation.
I am furious with her, and disappointed, and baffled, and heartsick, but I can see why she believed herself to be so obligated.
