Order Only: Some good news concerning the barter network

I've managed to secure a large supply of mason jars that could be used for canning at harvest time. Alice, do you think Victor could use as many as three hundred jars, quart sized and five hundred, pint-sized? I know it sounds like a lot, but I could come to help putting up the late harvest (once the children go back to school) and once the harvest is done, we could send some back into the barter network for credit, or even use it to help supply John Turner and the rest of the Sherwood people.

Tell Stephen I also have a line on a small potion supply company that is interested in the list of potion he forwarded to me that he said that he can brew. I realise you need to have him available both to teach and to brew potions for you there, but it might develop into quite a lucrative side venture.

That does sound like a fantastic idea, all round. We could most definitely use the mason jars, and that is excellent news for the potions -- there are so many things we can't make for ourselves here that a few extra galleons a month would be put to very good use. I'll tell him once we get back to Moddey Dhoo tomorrow.
